Wednesday (July 26) – It’s been a very interesting month of July here on LBI.  The weather hasn’t been tremendous, but it hasn’t been awful either. It seems like its really been shaping up in the past week or so.  Despite a few busy weekends, its has been a little on quiet side here – which I think is adding to the relaxtion factor!  So in a way, those who have made the journey here to LBI so far have beat the CROWDS.  That is probably the way to go!  But as we all know, we have a whole month of Summer to go! Plus September, which is our BEST WEATHER month at the Jersey Shore.  So feel free to check us out at the Long Beach Inn or see what’s happening at the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce

 

Saturday (July 1) – It’s here!  The holiday weekend has arrived.  And the beautiful weather with it.  Great beach day shaping up here as I type this on Saturday morning – 9:15 a.m. looking out at a busy Long Beach Blvd.  Better get the sun lotion on and get the stuff together.  Take in all the rays!  If you need help trying to find something on LBI, drop me an email!  If you want to take in LBI at a great price next weekend, check out the deal we’re offering at the Long Beach Inn next weekend – at lbi2006.com

 

 

Sunday (June 25) – Well, the first weekend of the summer has gone just as it has come – very quietly.  Poor weather forecasts (and poor weather on Sat Night) led to a pretty quiet and relaxing weekend for some.  I think things will heat up as we get closer to the 4th of July holiday, which is one week from this Tuesday.  Seems like there’s a good amount of interest for people looking to come down starting Saturday.  You might want to beat the crowds and check the lodging specials.

 

 

FRIDAY (June 23) Ok – Summer of 2006 is here.  And LBI, while quiet, is ready to rock and roll.

As usual, there are some changes on hand – new bands, new scenes, new establishments are getting set to open.
